The Vanguard VESTA 8×42 binoculars combine a lightweight design with clear optical performance and a durable outdoor build. With 8x magnification and 42mm objective lenses, they offer a wide field of view for nature observation, birding, hunting and travel. Furthermore, the enhanced BaK4 roof prisms and fully multi-coated lenses help provide clear images, good colour fidelity and efficient light transmission.

The binoculars feature a compact 145mm length and weigh approximately 600g. Therefore, they remain easy to carry during long days outdoors. In addition, the rubber-armoured housing provides a secure, no-slip grip.

BaK4 Prisms and Multi-Coated Optics

The Vanguard VESTA 8×42 uses enhanced BaK4 roof prisms combined with Multiguard® multi-coating technology. As a result, the optical system helps deliver clear views with good resolution, contrast and colour.

The 42mm objective lenses and 5.3mm exit pupil also allow the binoculars to gather a useful amount of light. Moreover, the 8x magnification provides a generous field of view, making it easier to follow moving subjects and observe wider scenes.

The large centre focus knob allows smooth and quick adjustments. Meanwhile, the right-eye diopter adjustment helps users fine-tune the image to suit their eyesight.

The VESTA 8×42 features a waterproof and fogproof design for outdoor use. Furthermore, the durable housing is covered with rubber armour, which improves grip and adds protection during everyday use.

The twist-up, lockable rubber eyecups also allow users to adjust the viewing position. With 19mm of eye relief and a 56–74mm adjustable pupillary distance, the binoculars offer flexible viewing for different users.
