Constantine 1-8×24 RAR Rifle Scope SCFF-60

The Constantine 1-8×24 RAR Scope is a versatile low-power variable optic designed for close-range shooting and fast target acquisition. With true 1x magnification, an 8x maximum zoom and a first focal plane (FFP) reticle, it offers flexibility for different shooting distances. Additionally, the fully multi-coated optics help deliver bright, clear images.

The VCO-1 MIL reticle features a 0.3 MIL center dot with a red ring for rapid aiming at close range. Its Christmas tree pattern also provides additional reference points for follow-up corrections. As a result, the reticle combines a defined aiming point with useful holdover references.

Built with a 30mm monotube, the Constantine provides an elevation adjustment range exceeding 35 MIL and a windage adjustment range exceeding 35 MIL. The 1/10 MIL click value allows for fine adjustments, while the capped turrets help prevent accidental changes during outdoor use. Furthermore, its IPX7 waterproof rating and nitrogen-filled construction make it suitable for demanding weather conditions.

True 1x Magnification for Fast Target Acquisition

The Constantine offers a 1-8x magnification range, starting at true 1x power. At its lowest setting, the scope supports a wide field of view and allows two-eyes-open shooting for greater situational awareness.

When more detail is needed, the magnification can be increased up to 8x. This flexibility makes the scope suitable for close-range applications and target observation at greater distances. The manufacturer recommends shooting distances within 200 meters.

VCO-1 MIL First Focal Plane Reticle

The VCO-1 MIL reticle uses a first focal plane design, meaning the reticle changes apparent size as magnification changes. Its sub tensions remain consistent across the magnification range, making the reticle references useful at different power settings.

Key reticle features include:

• 0.3 MIL center dot: Provides a defined aiming point for close-range use.
• Red ring: Helps draw attention to the aiming area for rapid target acquisition.
• Christmas tree pattern: Provides additional references for holdovers and follow-up corrections.
• Upper reticle references: Designed to support rapid ranging using suitable target references.

The reticle is designed to support close-range aiming and follow-up corrections. Always consult the manufacturer’s reticle guide for the exact sub tensions and ranging references.

Fully Multi-Coated Optics

The 24mm objective lens works with fully multi-coated optical surfaces to support light transmission and image clarity. This helps provide a clear sight picture across the scope’s magnification range.

At 100 yards, the field of view ranges from 105.7 feet at 1x to 13.6 feet at 8x. At 100 meters, it ranges from 35.2 meters to 4.5 meters. Therefore, the scope offers a broad viewing area at low magnification and a narrower view for more detailed observation at higher power.

Precise MIL Adjustments and Capped Turrets

The Constantine features a 30mm monotube with an elevation adjustment range exceeding 35 MIL and a windage adjustment range exceeding 35 MIL. Each click represents 1/10 MIL, allowing for incremental adjustments.

In addition, the capped turret design helps protect the adjustment controls and reduces the risk of accidental changes during handling or transport. The diopter adjustment range of -2 to +2 allows you to customize reticle focus to suit your eyesight.

11-Level Illumination

The VCO-1 MIL reticle features 11 illumination settings, allowing you to adjust its brightness to suit different lighting conditions. The illumination system uses a CR2032 battery.

For best visibility, select an illumination setting that provides a clear reticle without overwhelming the target image.

Waterproof and Durable Construction

The Constantine 1-8×24 RAR Scope features a 6061-T6 aluminium alloy housing with a matte black finish. Its IPX7 waterproof rating means it is designed to withstand temporary immersion under specified test conditions.

Furthermore, the nitrogen-filled construction helps prevent internal fogging, and the scope has a stated shock rating of 1000 G. These features make it suitable for demanding outdoor environments when used according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
