VictOptics SOI 4-12×40 Air Rifle Scope VIOC-04

The VictOptics SOI 4-12×40 Scope is designed for airgun target shooting, hunting and precision shooting at different distances. With 4-12x magnification and a 40mm objective lens, it offers a useful balance between close-range aiming and detailed target viewing. In addition, the fully multi-coated optics help provide bright, clear images.

The scope features a VNM-1 MIL reticle with five levels of red and green illumination. As a result, you can adjust the reticle colour and brightness to suit different backgrounds and lighting conditions. Furthermore, the 1/10 MIL click value allows for fine adjustments, while the capped turrets help prevent accidental changes.

Built with a 25.4mm (1-inch) tube, the VictOptics SOI is compact and lightweight. It also offers 100mm of eye relief, giving you more room to position your eye behind the scope. This is especially useful for air gun shooters who want a comfortable shooting position.

4-12x Magnification for Air gun Shooting

The VictOptics SOI offers a 4-12x magnification range. At 4x, you get a wider field of view for finding and viewing targets. However, at 12x, you can see more detail when observing smaller targets at greater distances.

The 40mm objective lens works with fully multi-coated optics to support light transmission and image clarity. Therefore, the scope is well suited to air gun target shooting and other applications that benefit from variable magnification.

At 100 yards, the field of view ranges from 31.8 feet at 4x to 10.6 feet at 12x. This means you can see a wider area at lower magnification, while higher power provides a closer view.

VNM-1 MIL Reticle with Red and Green Illumination

The VictOptics SOI 4-12×40 Scope features a VNM-1 MIL reticle in the second focal plane (SFP). This means the reticle maintains a consistent apparent size as you change magnification.

The reticle has five illumination levels in red and green. Consequently, you can choose the colour and brightness that provide the best contrast against your target background.

The illuminated reticle is powered by a CR2032 battery. For convenience, keep a spare battery available when using the scope for extended sessions.

Fine 1/10 MIL Adjustments

The scope features a 1/10 MIL click value, allowing you to make small adjustment changes. It also provides elevation and windage adjustment ranges greater than 14.5 MIL each.

In addition, the capped turrets help protect the adjustment controls and reduce the risk of accidental movement during handling or transport. The side adjustment details should be checked against the manufacturer’s manual if you need to confirm the exact turret operation.

Long Eye Relief for Comfortable Positioning

The VictOptics SOI provides 100mm (4 inches) of eye relief. This gives you more space to position your eye behind the scope and helps maintain a comfortable shooting stance.

The fast-focus eyepiece also offers diopter compensation from -2 to +2. Therefore, you can adjust the reticle focus to suit your eyesight.

Durable, Weather-Resistant Construction

The scope features a 6061-T6 aluminium alloy housing with a matte black finish. Its nitrogen-filled construction helps prevent internal fogging, while the IPX4 rating provides protection against water splashes.

Furthermore, the scope has a stated shock rating of 750 G. Its lightweight construction makes it easy to carry, while the 1-inch tube keeps the overall design compact.
