Upgrade your MDT ORYX Chassis with additional side-mounted M-LOK attachment points.

These replacement forend panels fit in place of the original ORYX side panels. Each panel has three M-LOK slots for mounting compatible accessories directly to the sides of the forend.

The panels are ideal for shooters who need more flexibility when positioning weights, sling mounts, support accessories or other M-LOK equipment.

Compatibility

These side panels are compatible only with the:

• MDT ORYX Chassis System

They replace the original left and right polymer panels fitted to the sides of the ORYX forend.

The panels are not action-specific. They can be used on different ORYX chassis inlets, provided the chassis uses the standard ORYX forend and factory side-panel mounting arrangement.

Not Compatible With

These panels are not designed for:

• MDT XRS chassis
• MDT ACC chassis
• MDT ESS chassis
• MDT LSS chassis
• MDT TAC21 chassis
• MDT HNT26 chassis
• MDT Field Stock
• Other brands of rifle chassis
• Conventional factory rifle stocks
• AR-15 handguards

Do not order according to the rifle model alone. Confirm that the rifle is already fitted with an MDT ORYX Chassis System.

M-LOK Accessory Options

The side-mounted M-LOK slots can accept compatible accessories such as:

• MDT exterior forend weights
• M-LOK QD sling mounts
• Sling loops
• Barricade accessories
• Cable-management accessories
• Small utility rails
• Other suitable M-LOK equipment

The additional mounting positions allow accessories to be placed where they are accessible without occupying the M-LOK slots beneath the forend.

Accessory size and screw length must be checked before installation. Screws that are too long may contact the chassis, barrel or other internal components.

Exterior Weight Compatibility

The included hardware allows compatible MDT M-LOK Exterior Forend Weights to be mounted directly to the sides of the ORYX forend.

Up to two compatible exterior forend weights may be installed on each side, depending on the selected configuration and available clearance.

Weights are sold separately.

Adding forend weight can help:

• Adjust the rifle’s balance
• Reduce unwanted muzzle movement
• Improve stability from supported positions
• Increase control during positional shooting

The final weight and balance will depend on the accessories installed.

Installation

Remove the original ORYX forend side panels and install the new M-LOK panels using the supplied mounting hardware.

Before installation:

1. Unload the rifle completely.
2. Remove the magazine.
3. Open the action.
4. Confirm visually and physically that the chamber is empty.
5. Place the rifle on a stable working surface.

Position each panel on the correct side of the forend. Install the supplied screws evenly without overtightening them.

After installation, confirm that:

• Both panels are securely seated
• No screws contact the barrel
• The barrel remains free-floating
• Mounted accessories do not interfere with the action
• All accessories remain secure during use

If you are uncertain about installation, consult a competent gunsmith.
