The Nightforce NX8 2.5-20×50 F1 Dark Earth is a versatile first focal plane riflescope designed for hunting, competition and precision shooting. Its wide 2.5-20× magnification range allows the shooter to engage targets at both close and extended distances. Product code C685 features an illuminated MOAR reticle, 0.25 MOA adjustments and a distinctive Dark Earth finish.

This NX8 combines an eight-times zoom range with a compact 305 mm body. The short design provides more mounting flexibility and leaves additional rail space for accessories. It is well suited to compact bolt-action rifles and precision semi-automatic rifles.

The 50 mm objective lens provides a clear and detailed target image. At the same time, the 2.5× lower magnification offers a wide field of view for quicker target acquisition. Increasing the magnification to 20× provides the detail required for precise shot placement at longer distances.

The first focal plane reticle changes size with the target image as magnification is adjusted. Therefore, the MOAR reticle’s measurements remain accurate throughout the complete magnification range.

MOAR Reticle and ZeroStop Turret

The MOAR reticle provides clear elevation and windage reference marks for accurate aiming and holdover corrections. Because it is positioned in the first focal plane, its MOA measurements remain usable at every magnification.

Nightforce’s ZeroStop system allows the shooter to set a definite stopping point at the original zero. After making an elevation correction, the turret can be returned quickly and confidently to the established zero position.

DigIllum illumination improves reticle visibility in difficult lighting conditions. The integrated Power Throw Lever also allows faster magnification changes when shooting conditions or target distances change.
