MDT XRS Chassis System Enclosed Forend

It is an upgrade designed specifically for the MDT XRS Chassis System. It replaces the existing XRS forend with an enclosed design that provides additional barrel protection while adding a full-length integral ARCA interface and multiple M-LOK mounting positions.

Built from 6061-T6 aluminum, the enclosed forend combines a rigid construction with flexible accessory mounting options. It also allows users to reuse their existing XRS chassis forend side panels, helping maintain the familiar appearance and ergonomics of the XRS system.

Enclosed Forend for Additional Barrel Protection

The enclosed design replaces the standard XRS forend and provides additional protection around the barrel. It accommodates barrel profiles up to 1.25″.

When using M-LOK accessories with a barrel of this size, accessory clearance may be limited. Consider the available space around the barrel when selecting and positioning M-LOK accessories.

Full-Length Integral ARCA Interface

One of the key features of the MDT XRS Enclosed Forend is its integral ARCA, RRS/Dovetail interface running along the entire length of the forend.

This provides a continuous mounting surface for compatible ARCA or RRS/Dovetail accessories and offers flexibility for positioning compatible shooting accessories along the forend.

Multiple M-LOK Mounting Positions

The enclosed forend includes additional M-LOK attachment slots positioned at the 10:30, 12 o’clock and 1:30 positions.

These mounting points can be used for compatible accessories such as lights or weights, providing additional configuration options without compromising the enclosed forend design.

NV-Compatible Top M-LOK Interface

The top M-LOK interface is designed with night-vision applications in mind. It can co-witness an M-LOK Picatinny rail at 20 MOA when used with the MDT High Scope Base for Remington 700 inlets.

This configuration provides additional flexibility for setups requiring night-vision equipment and compatible mounting solutions.

Durable 6061-T6 Aluminum Construction

The MDT XRS Enclosed Forend is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and features a hard black anodized finish.

This provides a durable platform for the integral ARCA interface and M-LOK mounting slots while maintaining the clean appearance of the XRS chassis system.

Reuses Existing XRS Side Panels

The enclosed forend is designed to reuse the existing XRS Chassis System forend side panels. This allows the upgraded forend to retain the familiar side-panel configuration of the XRS chassis.
