The MDT Rear Bag Rider M-LOK – Aluminum expands the capabilities of compatible MDT buttstocks by providing an extended, flat surface for use with a rear shooting bag. Designed for improved rear support and a more consistent shooting position, the bag rider provides 5 inches of available surface length to interact with a variety of rear bags.

Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, the MDT Rear Bag Rider features a Mil-Spec Type II hard-anodized finish for durability and repeated use. Its flat, horizontal surface is designed to support more linear recoil characteristics, while the rounded front and side profile helps reduce snagging on bags and gear.

Extended 5″ Rear Bag Surface

The MDT Rear Bag Rider M-LOK provides a long 5-inch surface for improved interaction with different rear shooting bags. The extended surface can accommodate a variety of bag configurations while providing a flat horizontal interface beneath the buttstock.

The angled design follows the underside of compatible MDT buttstocks, creating a consistent surface for rear support.

Designed for Linear Recoil

The flat, horizontal profile of the bag rider is designed to complement rear-bag shooting positions and support more in-line recoil characteristics.

The rounded front and side surfaces also help reduce the possibility of the bag rider catching or snagging on shooting bags and other gear.

Lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum Construction

The MDT Rear Bag Rider is manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and features a Mil-Spec Type II hard-anodized finish.

This provides a lightweight yet durable construction suitable for repeated use. At just 0.215 lb, the aluminum version adds minimal weight to the compatible buttstock.

M-LOK Compatibility

The bag rider attaches to M-LOK-compatible buttstocks and is compatible with mounting systems commonly found on MDT buttstocks such as the MDT ESS and SRS V5 and newer.

Slim Profile With No Rear Overhang

The slim design is shaped to complement the width of the MDT buttstock while avoiding rear overhang. This allows the bag rider to remain clear of length-of-pull (LOP) and buttpad adjustments.
