Leupold Mark 5HD 7-35×56 M1C3 FFP PR2-MOA

The Mark 5HD™ 7-35x56mm riflescope gives you the extra magnification you need to take advantage of the distances that modern precision rifles can shoot. With the right glass, no target is out of reach. And with the same dimensions and only 3 more ounces than its 5-25x56mm counterpart, you don’t have to pay a weight penalty for the extra magnification.

Built around Leupold’s Professional-Grade Optical System, the Mark 5HD 7-35x offers unmatched light transmission that’s designed to outperform in the most challenging lighting conditions. Its industry leading glare reduction provides a clear image in harsh, direct light, while the resolution and clarity will meet the demands of any professional guide or shooter in the field.

Get behind the Mark 5HD and you’ll see the difference. From the superior edge-to-edge clarity and extreme low-light performance to the versatility of its multiple reticle options, this rugged scope will give you an advantage at the range or in the field. With three revolutions of elevation adjustment, the Mark 5HD was built to max out the performance of the latest long-range rifles and ammo. It’s ergonomically designed with more tactile, audible click adjustments, larger numbers, and a high-speed throw lever, so you can put accurate fire downrange faster.

Its unique combination of features, durability, and professional-grade optical performance guarantees that the Mark 5HD can handle any challenge you throw at it. It’s 100% waterproof and fogproof, and like all Leupold® riflescopes, it’s designed, machined, and assembled in the USA and guaranteed to perform for life.

5:1 Zoom Ratio

A versatile 5:1 zoom ratio gives you 5 times more magnification at high power than at low power (model magnification ranges may be available in powers of 5x: 1-5, 2-10, 3-15, 4-20, etc.), so you can adjust your magnification to find the perfect balance between magnification and field of view for any situation. The larger the zoom ratio, the more versatile one scope can be.

Custom BDC Dial Compatible

Leupold’s Custom Dial System® (CDS®) gives you the ability to customize your turret (adjustment dial) to your exact ballistics and environmental conditions. Once your new custom dial is installed, simply range the target, turn the dial to that number, and aim dead on.

ZeroLock Dial

The ZeroLock® system eliminates accidental dial movement by locking it in place and allows for repeatable returns to zero.

Zero Stop

The ZeroStop system creates a backstop when returning the dial back to zero, so you don’t accidently turn the dial a full revolution in the wrong direction.

Side Focus

The precision side focus adjusts the scope’s parallax, making the reticle clearer and have less perceived movement when you’re shooting at different distances.

M1C3 Adjustments

These low-profile dials are available on select models and provide up to 71.5MOA of adjustment in 3 revolutions and 1/4 MOA clicks. Visual and tactile revolution indicators ensure you don’t get lost in the travel. The ZeroLock® feature prevents inadvertent adjustments and ensures accurate return to zero.

High-Definition Performance

Experience the difference with Leupold’s High-Definition lenses, which provide unparalleled clarity, color, and image resolution at all magnification levels.

Motion Sensor Technology (MST)

Motion Sensor Technology (MST™) extends battery life by automatically deactivating illuminated reticles after five minutes of inactivity and then reactivates instantly as soon as movement is detected.

Waterproof, Fogproof, & Shockproof

Leupold pioneered modern waterproof and fogproof technology using advanced internal gasses and sealing methods that withstand extreme temperatures, elevation changes, and shocks, so the internals of the optics stay moisture free and crystal clear for life.

Leupold

You know us, because we’re a lot like you. We work hard. We’re innovators. We hunt and shoot, and we generally get out a lot. Above all, we’re a family.

Our story starts here.

1907

Before we werea company,we were a family.

Fred Leupold and Adam Volpel—who had been brothers-in-law for eight years and close friends before that—go into business together.

Adam VolpelFred Leupold

Their company, Leupold & Volpel makes surveying equipment by hand.

Fred Leupold makes a promise that guides us to this day:The customer is entitled to a square deal.

1914

The Family Grows

J.C. Stevens invents the first water level recorder and becomes a partner when he brings it to the company. Fred Leupold’s son, Marcus, comes aboard as well.

Phone It In

Marcus is an avid outdoorsman.

This will become important later.

1937

Phone It In

J.C. Stevens keeps inventing. This time, it’s the Telemark, a revolutionary water level recorder that uses telephone signals to transmit information.

We told you we were innovators, didn’t we?

1939

New Blood

Robert Stevens, son of J.C., follows in his father’s footsteps and takes a job with the company.

1942

Business is Booming

Both the family and the company are changing, and our name changes with it.

Our new—and current—name is Leupold & Stevens.

1944

We began as a family business, and we remain a family business.

Our co-founder and patriarch, Fred Leupold, passes away.

Norbert Leupold

His son Norbert joins the company after working as a hydraulic engineer for the Army Corps of Engineers.

1940’s

“Hell! I could build a better scope than this!”

Legend has it that while hunting one day, Marcus Leupold missed a buck because his scope fogged up. He swore he could make a better scope, and that’s just what he did.

Who are we to argue with a legend?

1947

Birth of a Plainsman

After years of research—and lessons learned from World War II—we introduce our first riflescope. We call it the Plainsman, and it’s the first truly fog-proof scope built by Americans.

A new era in sporting optics begins.

Free & Clear

What was the secret to our first fog-free scope?

We evacuated the air out of the scope’s interior and filled it with pure nitrogen, which doesn’t react to sudden changes in temperature.

That’s how Marcus Leupold kept his word, and we’ve kept it ever since.

1953

The Man in the Field

Avid hunter and skilled marksman Jack Slack joins the company. Over time, he will become a celebrity in his own right.

Not to mention the fact that he’ll help shape the company.

1957

Weather-proofed optics quickly become hugely popular.

This surprises no one.

Encouraged by the success of the Plainsman and other early riflescopes, we expand our outdoor lineup even further, including a compass.

1958

Already having joined the company, Jack Slack becomes part of the family when he marries Marcus Leupold’s daughter, Georgia.

1962

We introduce the now-classic Duplex reticle.

The reticle style is clearly visible even in thick cover and twilight.

1968

The Torch is Passed

Marcus Leupold resigns, and his brother Norbert takes over the company.

1968

A New Home

As business keeps growing, we move into our new manufacturing plant and headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

1974

We introduce the industry’s first lightweight, high-power target scope…

1978

…followed by the industry’s first line of compact riflescopes.

1980s

We enter the handgun scope market.

1982

The company expands

Featuring 30 different models and employing over 500 Americans.

1983

Werner Wildauer

After 25 years with the company, Werner becomes President and Chairman.

One of the Team

Werner emigrated from Germany in 1958 after receiving a job offer in the mail from Marcus Leupold. He started as a manufacturing technician and took on more and more responsibility over the years. He eventually took on the company’s top position…

…which isn’t bad for someone who wasn’t especially interested in a management job.

1985

Proud to Serve

We enter the tactical optics market and supply scopes to the US military for the first time.

It will not be the last.

1986
