The Hawke Airmax 3-9×40 Riflescope with the AMX Reticle is specifically engineered to enhance the accuracy of airguns. Designed with a duplex ranging reticle based on a mil-dot system, this scope offers multiple aiming points to counteract the erratic trajectories of air pellets. By utilizing these reticle points, you can adjust your aim quickly without having to adjust the windage and elevation turrets.

Enhanced Light Transmission and Durability

The 40mm objective lens gathers more light than smaller optics, improving low-light performance during dawn, dusk, or in dense foliage. The scope features short covered turrets that give it a low profile, reducing the chance of snagging. Capped turrets prevent accidental adjustments, while the fast-focus collar and high-torque zoom ring enable rapid adaptation to changing conditions. AMX Reticle Details

Both the AMX and AMX IR reticles are based on the spacing of a 10x Mil Dot. The AMX reticle includes multiple aim points, ideal for airguns with variable trajectories. The half Mil Dot spacing on the lower post provides additional aim points for long-distance shooting. The horizontal bars are spaced at 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 mils, while the hollow posts are segmented into mil spacing for bracketing targets.
