Front-Notch Compatibility

This magazine is listed as having the newer front locking notch.

• The notch allows it to lock into the TM-22 Standard’s paddle-style magazine release.
• Newer notched magazines are backward compatible with other TM-22 variants.
• Older notchless magazines may not lock into the TM-22 Standard.

Always compare the magazine catch and notch with the rifle before loading.

Ammunition Compatibility

Use only ammunition marked:

• .22 Long Rifle
• .22 LR

Do not use .22 Short, .22 Long, .22 WMR, .17 HMR, or centre-fire ammunition.

Ammunition shape and overall length can affect feeding. Test unfamiliar ammunition before using it for an extended shooting session.

Loading and Maintenance

Load each cartridge beneath the feed lips without excessive force. Never strike the magazine or force the final cartridge into place.

Keep the feed lips, follower and internal channel clean. Use lubricant sparingly, as excess oil can attract dust and contaminate rimfire ammunition.

Safety

Unload the rifle and confirm that the chamber is empty before inserting, removing, cleaning, or testing the magazine.

After insertion, pull down gently to confirm that the magazine is locked. Stop using it if it does not seat correctly or causes repeated feeding problems.

The buyer is responsible for complying with local restrictions relating to magazine capacity.
