Cometa Orion Drive and Cocking Sleeve – OR000004

The Cometa Orion Drive Sleeve is an internal replacement component for selected Cometa Orion PCP air rifles. Cometa officially identifies this component as the Casquillo Arrastre, meaning drive or cocking sleeve.

The sleeve forms part of the bolt and cocking mechanism. It works between the bolt shaft and bolt retainer to support the correct transfer of movement through the action.

This component may sometimes be listed as an Orion “hammer pin.” However, it is not the rifle’s hammer. The correct manufacturer description is drive or cocking sleeve.

Compatibility with Orion BP, Orion Gold, Advance, later production models, or other Cometa PCP rifles must be confirmed separately.

Check the rifle’s exact model, production generation, and original part number before ordering. This component must not be confused with the Orion hammer, hammer-spring guide, bolt shaft, or bolt retainer.

Installation Information

The air rifle must be unloaded and completely depressurised according to the manufacturer’s instructions before internal work begins.

Installation should be completed by a qualified PCP airgun technician. Incorrect installation may cause poor cocking operation, misalignment, excessive component wear, or damage to the bolt mechanism.

Do not grind, drill, shorten, or otherwise modify the sleeve.
