Cometa Lynx Complete Valve Group – LX300046
The Cometa LX300046 is a replacement valve-group assembly for compatible Cometa Lynx PCP air rifles.
The valve group forms part of the rifle’s firing-air system. When activated by the hammer mechanism, it releases a controlled quantity of compressed air to propel the pellet. A correctly functioning valve is important for reliable operation, consistent velocity and efficient air usage.
This assembly may be required when repairing a damaged, worn or leaking original valve system.

Compatibility
Designed for selected Cometa Lynx PCP air rifles using the LX300046 valve-group assembly.
Potentially compatible Lynx models include:
- Cometa Lynx
- Cometa Lynx MKII
- Cometa Lynx V5
- Cometa Lynx V10
Compatibility with newer Lynx SPR, compact, 300-bar or carbon-bottle versions must be confirmed before ordering. Internal components can differ according to the model, working pressure and production date.
Always compare part number LX300046 with the original component or the rifle’s correct exploded diagram.
Important Part Distinction
This is the rifle’s firing-valve group. It must not be confused with the:
- Pressure regulator
- Reservoir filling valve
- Safety or burst valve
- Air bottle valve
- Pellet-loading needle
- Valve-seat component sold separately
Possible Fault Symptoms
A damaged or worn valve assembly may cause:
- Air leaking through the barrel
- Reduced pellet velocity
- Inconsistent power
- Poor air efficiency
- Failure to release air correctly
- Unusual hammer or valve operation
These symptoms can also be caused by damaged seals, incorrect regulator pressure or other internal faults. The rifle should be properly inspected before replacing parts.
Installation and Safety
The Cometa Lynx operates with high-pressure compressed air. The rifle must be completely unloaded and fully depressurised before disassembly.
Valve removal and installation should be performed by a qualified PCP airgun technician. Incorrect work can cause serious injury, air leakage or damage to the rifle.
Never remove the valve while pressure remains in the reservoir. Do not modify, drill, grind or polish any valve component.
