Installation and Safety

The Cometa Lynx is a high-pressure PCP air rifle. The rifle must be unloaded and completely depressurised according to Cometa’s instructions before this assembly is removed or installed.

Installation should be completed by a qualified PCP airgun technician. The technician must confirm:

Correct M20×1.5 thread engagement
Condition of the male and female threads
Correct seal size and material
Correct installation depth and torque
Leak-free operation after assembly

Do not use thread tape, permanent adhesive, an incorrect seal, or excessive force. Never install the cap if the threads are cross-threaded, stripped, cracked, or otherwise damaged.

The rifle must undergo a controlled pressure and leak test after installation.
