The Cometa Lynx 500cc Aluminium Cylinder is a replacement high-pressure air reservoir for compatible Cometa Lynx PCP air rifles.

Its 500 cc internal capacity provides a substantial compressed-air supply for extended shooting sessions. The aluminium construction offers durability and is suitable for compatible Lynx models designed around the standard 200-bar bottle system.

This is a pressure cylinder, not a complete PCP bottle-and-regulator conversion kit.

Compatibility

This cylinder is intended for selected 200-bar Cometa Lynx models using a 500 cc aluminium reservoir, including compatible versions of the:

• Cometa Lynx V10
• Cometa Lynx SPR
• Selected Lynx MKII configurations

Compatibility must be confirmed using the rifle’s exact model, production generation, reservoir thread, valve system, regulator type, and original bottle part number.

This cylinder should not be assumed to fit:

• Cometa Orion rifles
• Cometa Advance rifles
• Earlier 220 cc Lynx configurations
• Lynx XL 700 cc configurations
• 300-bar F300 models
• Carbon-fibre reservoir systems
• Non-Cometa PCP rifles

Important Pressure Information

The maximum published working pressure for this aluminium cylinder is:

200 bar / 3,000 psi

Never fill this cylinder to 300 bar or 4,500 psi. The 300-bar rating applies only to specifically marked and approved Cometa carbon-fibre reservoir versions.

Always follow the lowest pressure rating shown on the cylinder, valve, regulator, filling equipment, or rifle.

Unless specifically stated, this product does not include:

• Pressure regulator
• Pressure gauge
• Filling valve
• Valve block
• Sealing kit
• Bottle cover
• Mounting hardware
• Filling probe

Confirm the actual package contents before ordering if a complete bottle-and-regulator assembly is required.

Installation and Safety

PCP cylinders contain compressed air at extremely high pressure. Installation and removal should be completed by a qualified PCP airgun technician.

Before installation:

• Confirm the cylinder is completely depressurised
• Inspect the threads for damage
• Check the cylinder for dents, corrosion, cracks, or impact damage
• Use only the correct pressure-rated seals
• Confirm the manufacturing and inspection markings
• Ensure the regulator and valve are approved for the cylinder

Fill the cylinder slowly with clean, dry compressed air. Never fill it with oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, or another gas unless Cometa specifically approves that gas for this cylinder.

Do not drill, weld, heat, grind, repaint, or modify the cylinder. A damaged or out-of-date pressure vessel must be removed from service and inspected by an authorised pressure-equipment specialist.
