Australian Stock Saddle Optimized for Polocrosse and Mounted Games

The Sahara Polocrosse Saddle is a versatile, medium Australian Stock saddle — closely related in fit to the Normandy, but specifically refined for Polocrosse, Tent Pegging, and mounted games. Designed to suit narrow to medium horses, it offers an ideal blend of security, balanced seat positioning, and adjustability.

Short, straight bars with generous shoulder clearance
Medium-high swell for use on horses with both high and low withers
Dished, secure seat with a 13” wide, low-profile cantle for all-day comfort
25mm adjustable stirrup strap position for forward adjustment in Polocrosse or mounted games
Velcro skirt system accommodating three different thickness neoprene pads (2x 10mm, 2x 14mm, 2x 18mm) for a fully customisable fit

Phantom Version

The Phantom offers a lightweight alternative to the standard Sahara. Instead of veg-tan leather, it uses neoprene rubber laminated between two pieces of chrome leather, dramatically reducing weight without compromising strength or feel. Supplied with 25mm stirrup straps and leather sleeve covers.

Important: The Phantom remains a genuine leather saddle, not a synthetic product.
