Wide-Backed Australian Stock Saddle for Medium to Wide Horses

The Namib Polocrosse Saddle is a wide Australian Stock saddle designed for medium to wide horses, offering superb rider security, comfort, and adjustability for endurance riding and competitive mounted games. Based on the trusted fit of the Kalahari, it’s equally effective on Quarter Horses, Australian Stock Horses, larger Arabs, Drafts and Draft Crosses.

• 4” (10cm) spine gullet and 9” (22.9cm) front gullet

• Short, straight bars with open shoulder clearance

• Medium-high swell to accommodate both high and low withers

• Dished, balanced seat with a 13” wide, low-profile cantle

• 25mm adjustable stirrup strap position for Polo Crosse or tent pegging

• Velcro skirt system for attaching three different thickness neoprene pads (2x 10mm, 2x 14mm, 2x 18mm) for a tailored fit

• Double 25mm girth straps for secure rigging

• Fitted with aluminum stirrups with safety cages

Phantom Version

The Phantom is the lightweight, streamlined alternative to the standard Namib. Instead of traditional veg-tan leather, it uses neoprene rubber between two layers of chrome leather, reducing weight without sacrificing durability or feel. Delivered with 25mm stirrup straps with leather sleeve covers.
