The Vanguard VEO BA-185 also works with standard 1/4″ tripod and monopod threads. Simply attach the adapter to the 1/4″ screw on a compatible tripod or monopod.

However, a tripod with a 3/8″ thread needs a compatible tripod head. For non-Arca tripod heads, you can also use a separate quick-release plate with a 1/4″ thread.

Furthermore, the adapter works with roof prism binoculars and some larger 50mm models. Always check that your binoculars have a compatible 1/4″ threaded socket before use.
