Product Specifications

The DB9-MAGG4E reference, six-round capacity, steel body and removable finger-extension baseplate are confirmed by a detailed factory-magazine listing. Diamondback DB9 Gen 4 magazine specifications

Extended Floorplate

The extended polymer floorplate provides additional space for the shooter’s lower finger. This can improve grip comfort and control on the compact DB9 Gen 4.

The extension does not add ammunition capacity. The magazine remains a standard six-round magazine.

Because the baseplate extends below the grip, confirm clearance with tight-fitting holsters and magazine pouches.

Compatibility

Designed and verified for:

• Diamondback DB9 Gen 4
• Diamondback DB9G4 compact pistol

Not confirmed for:

• Diamondback DB9 Gen 1
• Diamondback DB9 Gen 2
• Diamondback DB9 Gen 3
• Diamondback DB9FS
• Other Diamondback handgun models

Earlier DB9 magazines may look similar, but the Gen 4 uses an updated baseplate design. Confirm the pistol generation before ordering.

Ammunition Compatibility

Use only the correct ammunition recommended for the DB9 Gen 4:

• 9mm Luger
• 9×19mm Parabellum

Do not use .380 ACP, 9×18mm Makarov, .38 Super, or other cartridges.

Maintenance

Keep the magazine body, follower and feed lips clean. Remove dirt, lint and residue that may interfere with cartridge movement.

Use lubricant sparingly. Excess oil can attract dust and contaminate ammunition. Do not bend, spread, file, or modify the feed lips.

Safety

Unload the pistol and confirm that the chamber is empty before inserting, removing, cleaning, or testing the magazine.

After insertion, pull down gently to confirm that the magazine is securely locked. Stop using it if it is damaged or causes repeated feeding problems.
